Talking How I fixed all my motor problems!

First off, a couple weeks ago I bought a 1988 F150. It was running like crap, but it had 20k on motor and trans. So I do all the basics. Check spark plugs, spark plug wire, vacuum leaks, and then I ran the codes. I got a 41 which is system always lean, or something like that. So I think lean- not enough fuel (I already checked vacuum leaks). Now for the hell of it, I pulled the throttle body and egr valve and gave them a nice cleaning. Then I spent the best $10 of my life on this seafoam stuff. I follow the directions, but my truck doesnt smoke all that much (hopefully confirming the newish motor). It runs better, but still not great. The problem is under little to no load, 1/8 throttle I have absolutely no power at all, and it sounds like its missing and all that until it passes 2400rpm, and it catches on and goes. So then I say screw it, its a ford I'll move on. Then I look for the exhaust leak I hear. Sure enough, The hose connecting the air pump to the catalytic converter popped off. So I hook it back up, started her up, and voila! no more problems... Just thought I would share seeing as to how I was stuck on this problem for a week.
