Default Which Rear Springs Do I Need?!

I have a 1995 f-150 eddie bauer extended cab 4x4. I'm putting a 4-inch rough country lift on the front. Planning on getting aftermarket stock f-250 rear springs from bronco graveyard. I want the truck to sit level with no weight in the back. Will the stock f-250 springs do the trick? Also, I have the factory blocks on my rear axle. The f-250 springs say the are for non-factory block applications. If i take the blocks off will these springs work? Any incite would be appreciated.

Thanks,
J-Bob

Check the width of the springs to make sure they will fit in the bracket and shackles.

Yes the springs will work and you will gain lift with them. They will work with or without blocks.
Best thing to do is install the lift in the front and the leafs in the rear and then tune your ride hight with a small block.

Thanks for the incite buddy. I apreciate it. how much lift do you think the 250 springs might give me over stock 150 springs?

Hard to say...depends how sagged your 150 springs are and ford made a few different spring packs for the 250. But roughly 2-3" if you reuse your factory 2" block that's in your truck now.

For example my truck has 8" of lift in the front and 2003 f250 leafs in the rear with a 4" block and it sits level.

With the 250 leafs you will also need the brackets from the f250 leafs. Since the 250 leafs are wider that the 150 leafs.

No he doesn't! His truck is a 4x4. Direct replacement! The leafs are the same width!
