Rear differential fill plug?
The fill plug on my rear differential on my 1993 f150 is stuck bad. Ive nearly stripped the square hole in the plug. I know I can get the plug out but I doubt ill be able to with it being reusable. so, how or where can I replace it? I cant find a new one.
i tried to check on a couple OEM Ford part sites, and i got nothing.. but i seen this on ebay, (hope its what you need) but i dont know the right size.

It doesn't have to be that exact one. Any real parts store will have a bung with those threads. Maybe an allen key hole, but it doesn't really matter. Put anti seize on it before you put it in.
Spray some penetrating fluid around it and let it sit a while. Then I'd try using a breaker bar to break it loose. You'll be surprised at the leverage you have instead of using a regular wrench. You can get an 18" breaker bar (whatever socket size you need, I think the 3/8" square fits that fill plug) from Harbor Freight for around $10.

Oh, and if it's stripped inside the square area of the plug, you might be able to wrap some tape around the square end on your breaker bar then pound that into the fill plug with a hammer (gently). Once it's in there snugly, then use the breaker bar to try to jar it loose.

I abandoned my stuck plug after a couple days fighting with it. Picked up a MAP gas torch to get more heat than propane. With the added heat I became concerned I would melt the rear ABS speed sensor on the top of the pumpkin and decided to remove it first. As I removed it revealing the 1" diameter hole that it lives in it hit me I could just refill the diff from there. A clean zip tie can be used as a dipstick to check the level. No need to fight the rusty frozen stripped plug.
