I had this same problem with another truck I had. I went to the local hardware and got an assortment of washer. An used that on either side of the cab. It acts like clamp. That was my quick fix. Another thing you could do is if you have a welder take a peace big enough to cover the area. Form it clean the area. Then put it between the cab and body mount tighten it up for a tight fit. Tac it up remove the body mount and weld it up. I had a 3" body lift so it was much easier for me.
