1995 Ford F150 Super Cab Mild Resto in progress
I have had this truck for almost a year. It is my daily driver. Just over 200,000 miles on her now. I had to show the old girl some loving. When i adopted her she had a bad leak at the manifold, the ac leaked bad and was not worth charging, the brakes were rough at best, the hood had flown up and needed repaced, tires were about shot, tint faded, door locks did not work and the inside was filthy. All in all she was tired and almost ready for pasture.
Well, we started with the basics to make her a real daily driver. Got the brakes fixed, new calipers and the likes, and later master cylider. The ac was simply and orifice tube i guess that needed done. Got the fluids and filters all serviced as well.
I did not get a door key. I pulled the doors apart and found the plastic do hicky was busted up and needed replaced. So i got new door lock cyliders so i had keys and replaced the plastic connector do hicky with new ford ones.
Got tint redone and the whole guts cleaned up real well. Did not smell as bad but still kept fresh boxes of arm and hammer in it to help.
Had to get a new starter, and alternator as well along the way.
First of the year i started getting a leak that turned out requriring a new water pump, so there you go. Also did a performance timing gear set from advanced auto at the same time. A new radiator was needed as well.
Now the truck is running great. cosmetic time is now upon us. So a new (used) hood and hinges were in order along with fresh paint. I went with a the factory color to keep it simple. After all it is just my daily driver, not a show truck. While at it i did a full Roadkill treatment and new interior. The smell of new leather is so great.
Now the truck is a pleasure to drive.
Enjoy

Thanks Guys, I think i just added at least 10-15 more years of life to this truck. She is a comfy ride. Now i can now wait to get the music done. Not sure if i will be keeping the blacked out lights or not. Not sure that i love them on the green. Black or white truck yeah but not sure on the green. Need a set of nerf bars too

Springer Spaniels Rule
One thing, keep an eye on the front spring buckets and rear leaf brackets, and aside from the fuel tanks, should last that long with regular maintenance.

OMG that looks awesome. Too bad I don't have the $$ to put into mine besides the fact half my plastic is broke or has big wood screws in it. I'm gonna have to fix those screw holes in the metal and plastic. Trouble is finding charcoal grey (almost black). And replacement split benches.
