on my 1987 XLT Bench, with the molded in head rests and armrest WITH cup holders
1. Can you slide the benchseat forward and back to adjust your space from the steer wheel?
Yes.
2. is the backrest angle of the benchseat adjustable?
No
3. on the model with the fold down armrest, is there anything behind the armrest when you fold it down or is there a wall?
There is a wall
4. Finally, on the 50/50 benchseat, are both sides independently backrest adjustable? Say if I want to be reclined, can my passenger's side be more upright if they want it?
Mine is solid

I LOVE OLD FORD'S
i have a set of seats from an 07 dodge p/u in mine. the previous owner installed them. takes some modding but it works. They are comfortable as hell, way more comfortable than the stock ford seat.

'90 Full benchseat with center armrest, seat slides back and forth, haven't really tried to mess with the angle of the backrest, but it all works just fine for me, I'm 6'2 and don't have any problems.

The things I liked about going with the Bronco seats is that they were captains style with the center armrest and exact factory match for design and fabric. That and the fact you can adjust the angle, the lumbar and forward/backwards of course. The problem with them is that since I have a regular cab, and can't angle the back as much as I would like. I broke my back so comfort is a priority and these are very comfortable.
