Default Question for the Experts

I have two well running trucks. However, when the time comes I would like to know what all I would need to do to move the engine from the 1991 f250 extended cab (351 e40d) over to the 1995 f150 extended cab (302 4r70w). I have everthing on the 1991 and it is in excellent running condition. The 1995 is a nice looking truck and runs well too, but it has 200,00 on it. What all would I need to transfer over?

I am new to this stuff so I will admit to needing to learn alot. From the reading I had done before it seemed that this site was friendly and helpful. I guess I will see. How can I tell for sure if the donor truck is not mass air. It would be speed density then. Is that correct?

First of all, thanks for your response. You do seem to know what you are talking about. I have already noticed that difference and no there is not one on the donor truck. But, do I care since the truck I am going to is mass air do I still need to do some kind of coversion? Firing order of injectors? 5.0 becoming 5.8?

The only difference is the harness and upper intake and computer for mass air. If your truck is speed density, even swap.

The donor truck (1991 f250 351w e40d) is speed density. The repair truck (1995 f150 302 4r70w) is mass air. Both trucks currently run. Donor truck runs great is just too ugly to look at. Repair truck runs fine, but is 200K.
