Question about regular tires on xl rims.
I searched and looked all over and cant find an explanation. Ok so i found some really nice truck tires for sale for $80 a piece and they are snow/offroad/on road tires. The rim size of my truck is p235/75r15xl. The tires im looking at are p235/75r15. Is there a difference? If there is what is it. Is it just a little wider, is the beading different on the tire? And is there a safe proper way to get them to fit on my rims? Thanks for any info.

I believe the XL stands for extra load if anything. I had some on my old Suburban and the weight rating the tire could handle was greater than a typical "P" series tire. The tire might be heavier but it should physically be the same size.

Thanks guys for the info. I guess I just didn't notice it when I was searching. And I attached a picture of the info. I plan on getting those tires now. I guess i should have asked. How are goodyear wranglers? I have seen mixed reviews on them. Anyone used them for winter driving before? Those are the ones i am looking at.
