Default Putting together a toolbox

I've been upgrading a lot of tools lately, so i have quite a few extras, i'm throwing together the usual must haves for the truck but i'd be interested in anything not so mainstream someone suggests, thanks in advance for any input.

Could include anything emergency related too, although with a cell phone and credit card most everything else is just a waste, still i'm old and like a few things on hand in case of trouble.

C Tire has a set of flare nut wrenches on clearance for 10 bucks, might be worth while if you need to dick with fluid lines away from home.

My work requires me to keep some pretty standard tools, wrenches, sockets etc. but I have a found a few things not required to be pretty useful; spare hose clamps, elec tape, zip ties, locktite, a couple of magnets so i don't lose screws/bolts/nuts.

Not really tools, but could probably find a use if you had to make a roadside repair to get home.

Have found a magnetic retriever, basically a magnet on an extendable stick, to be extremely useful for dropped stuff into dark or otherwise flashlight-inaccessible, and big hands-inaccessible places...

Was down at C tire today and remembered something I bought specifically for my truck.

Not sure how useful it would for roadside repairs, but i needed a vise anyways. 100 bucks when on sale, but i bet you could find something similar on amazon for cheaper.

Also a couple of files might be a good idea, maybe a chisel or somethign to back out sheared bolts.

Oh, and thanks a lot SaltEater, you cost me some more money, ended up replacing all my wrenches and buying those flare nut wrenches too, toolbox is getting a little big....

Nice and shiny.... Leaves even more and better tools for the truck.

Whoa - That's like zombie apocalypse prep kit right there!! Actually, mine is similar, minus the chainsaw and water (and I don't know what "REM" is). I have a Stihl 250, just don't keep it in the truck. Good idea to have it though - maybe I'll get a cheapie and throw it in there. Also, instead of the mag light, I have a couple LED flashlights from Costco in mine, but I keep the batteries in original packaging until needed.
