Default Pulling a 5.0

Going to get started pulling my 5.0 in my 1993... I've got a hoist. My question is will I be able to get the motor out (leaving trans in...) without depressurizing the AC? I plan on pulling the rad to make room, but was hoping I could disconnect the compressor and tie it up to the fender still connected as I've done before on other vehicles.

Tips appreciated!

Thanks,
Phil

Lame... I guess I'll go get it evacuated before I start pulling things :/

Do I take this as a hint that this job is made easier by removing the condenser?

Honestly it would much easier to pull the whole front end. If you don't want to do that, take the hood off.

I pulled my engine out without disconnecting the A/C. I tied it to the fender. I guess my truck is different from others. I removed the radiator also.

Disconnect the bracket and tie it to the fender. Easy and out of the way. I've got mine out now and it's not a problem. Take the hood off and the radiator out and you will have plenty of room to get the motor out.
