1989 F150 351W with C6: transmission slipping and shuttering between 2nd and 3rd gear... between 35-38 mph. Replaced transmission filter and fluid, including 2 quarts of Lucas Stop Slip. Still acting up. What are the odds adjusting the bands will help and what should that cost? This is an old truck and I don't really want to invest in a transmission rebuild. Thanks for any advice.
