So what y'all run for headlight bulbs in your aftermarket headlights? The bulbs in my truck have the year 2000 stamped on them and they are long life nulbs so they are old AND yellow as hell. So I ended up getting the bulbs in the link above - amazon had them on sale for less than $20 for the pair, so I figure why the hell not.
I am very pleased with how they look - much whiter light and much brighter. I am skeptical of how these would look if you didn't have aftermarket clear lenses.
It's hard to get a shot of these in the dark with a crappy phone camera and show the difference between the two. It doesn't seem all that different in the photos below but it really is a huge difference at night. Closest thing you can get to an LED or HID and it doesn't have the annoying blue color that I can't stand.
