okay guys, getting a little bored with how my truck is sitting. im considering doing a lift of some sort. either just level it out or put a body lift on it.

i was wondering if it would even be worth it because my truck is pretty rusty.
(i live in WI) so would it be a big hassle to even mess with it?

and if i do decide to do one, which would you suggest? body or level?

one more thing--sorry about the long post

how hard is it to install one? im only 16 and have a limited knowledge of vehicles right now, and a limited variety of tools.

I body lifted two of my trucks when I was 16-17. With my dads hand tools and a creative way to hoist the body with a bottle jack.

level it first and if you still want to go higher put a body lift on it too

will it be too much of a pain with it being rusty? or would that not make a difference?

you might have to cut the bolts on the box and stuff if you do a body lift and its too rusty

Agreed. Do a level on the front end (I am planning on this myself) and see how you like it.
