Default Only defrost works.

So as it says only my defrost works no matter what setting its on. ANy ideas?

Wether it is vacuum or electric, something is wrong with your controls that is not allowing you to switch between vent/defrost/air conditioning, etc.

when it only blows from defrost mode it typically is in default mode caused by a vaccum leak i would look at the vaccum canister in the engine compartment should have 2 lines coming of it may be cracked right at the connection you will want to check the entire line from the canister to the firewall. if the canister is metal look for a rust hole.....

vacuum leak, look under the hood by the ac box where the vacuum line connects.

i dont have ac. and the previous owner disconnetced a few vac lines that i have no idea where they go. can i just plug them?

No, you need to hook them back up. There may be a few you can plug but they are there for a reason so you will defeat the function of something and possibly throw a code. The underhood decal shows where the lines go. Most likely some that were disconnected are for smog equipment.
