Default poor warm start

Hello,
I have a 96 f150 with the 6cyl. Purchased as a salvage (was rolled) It was all fixed up in 1998 and ran fine. At one point in time the check engine light came on with oxygen senson problems. All sensors where replaced but the lights came back on within days. Well I've been driving it ever since with the light on. but now when the engine is warm and I try to start it. It seems to turn over and start but not really run. It's kinda like its running with a choke on or running on 3 cylinders. After pumping the gas for 15-30 seconds it runs ok. I thought the catalitic converters where clogged, so I had them removed. Still the same thing. It starts and runs fine from a cold start. I do have a obd2 to check codes and reset, but this is 2008 and I can't figure it out. Any ideas or questions?
Thanks

I will pull the codes again tonight and post them. Thank you so much for the response.

Well my code reader is out of service. I do remember the codes that where tripping where the o2 sensors in front of and behind the catalitic converter.
the converter and sensors are gone now. Still have the problem. Is there a way to bypass the o2 stuff? possibly a temp sensor problem... maybe pull a fuse and shut the computer off.... lol!

Tim, to shut a EEC off is my dream for a long time, but i'm not that good with programming my laptop for that stuff I don't think that a temp sensor will affect that way. I'm not sure ignition timing is ajustable at your truck, but if it is, it must be a little late now. Do a search at the forum - there were similiar problems discussed in here, and i think it was about an ignition controle module failure (don't quote me on this).

I have the same problem. With car starting, codes for o2 sensors, etc. After many mechanics not being able to address the issue I went to the dealer. They spent two days on it and could not figure it out.

I gave up. The check engine light can stay on and I'm not changing anymore o2 sensors.

The codes are just for the o2 sensors before and behind the cataletic converters, which are now punched/removed. I removed fuse 8 over the weekend and the problem may have went away. I'll keep you posted.
