You're not going to find pre-made upholstery specifically for your truck anywhere that I could think about. You can either find a junkyard bench/seats from another Ford truck or Bronco and all that will need done is some simple swapping of seat brackets. Or, you can get pre-made seat covers for it from any number of eBay stores or online.

Otherwise, you can pay a custom upholstery reconditioning shop to do it. I'd hate the vinyl too, plus thats the only part of the entire truck that really looks like it needs anything. Great find, what'd you pay?

I paid $2450, the seller started at $3000. Needing a clutch got the price down. I think that's high for a stripped model, but I think it's condition warranted spending more.

I have only one junkyard near by. I don't hold a lot of faith in finding a seat with upholstery that's any better than I have. But, it is something I should do. "You can't win if you don't play the game".

I haven't seen any upholstery from the usual repop sources, either.
I have looked on Ebay and only see earlier model bench seat covers (no headrest), and late model take-offs. Maybe you've seen something I missed?
There is a custom shop around here, I plan on getting an estimate. I'm afraid it'll be a big percentage of what I paid for the truck!

Nah I think that's a pretty fair price. That'd be worth even more near me, very little rust.

Yeah a custom upholstery shop is gonna be expensive, but it's obviously the best result. I'm hoping for the best for you, fixing that will make it a great looking truck inside and out.

I was going by Kelly Blue Book. A friend told me KBB probably isn't up on truck value. He seemed to think it was priced right, too. Around here, they seem to hold their value well. Rust free vehicles are few and far between around here, too. I had decided to put off looking for a truck, but when (another) friend, who found this truck for sale told me it was truly rust free, I had to look at it.

I'm going to get the custom shop upholstery estimate. I figure even if I found a decent seat in a yard, it would be just as old a mine. I plan on having this a while.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Common fuel tank issue is crossfill. The rear tank will leak into the front tank when running the rear. It's usually a check valve in the front fuel pump that gets dirty and gets stuck. There was a recall for 92 and 93 models, then apparently ford "fixed" it in 94, even though it continued to happen untill 97 when they scratched the dual tanks as standard.

Thanks for the info, Matt. I've only driven it a few miles, so far. At first, it seemed the gas gauge read the same no matter which tank I had the switch on.
But the last time I drove it, the front tank clearly was reading lower than the rear. (I have had the switch on the front tank.) So maybe it's okay. Time will tell...
I thought that maybe the dual tanks were standard. I can't imagine a stripped model such as mine having them as an option. Seems like a strange item to make standard.
Along those lines, maybe you (or someone else) could tell me if the A/C was standard? I'm assuming the P/S and P/B were.
