Yours is as base as it comes. Mine has the "chrome package" which gives you chrome mirror caps, chrome bumpers, and chrome grille and headlight bezels. Mine also has cruise control and cloth seat. But both are XL

Also chrome wheels

I would start trying to hunt up an XLT seat for it. Much more comfortable seat. Bolts right in. Might have to run a wire for the power lumbar.
There's a lot to be said for basic stock. Chrome reverse with baby moons - do you think. I always liked that look.
At least it has A/C if you can get it firing. It's really nice for de fogging the windows, I find. Biggest place for leaks is the O-rings on the piece that bolts on the back of the compressor.
Anyway, I like the way it looks right now. Simple. Clean.

Nice truck, Matt. Looks like it's had a good life. Somebody really took care of mine, too. I wish they had gotten that chrome package.

Thanks, Chris. I've always been fan of simple. Easier to fix, since I'm my own mechanic. Besides, my wife says simple suits me. I wonder what she means?
Along those lines, I think I'll keep the seat that's in it. If I come across an XLT seat cheap,I might consider it.
I'm not an A/C nut, but it certainly has its place.

I don't know how to multi-quote, so I'll just reply in general:

-I like the chrome front stuff, and I think I'll use a roll pan on the rear. And being on the older side (56), I'm thinking of chrome reverse with smoothie hubcaps. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/crr-3135705p I've wanted a set of those since I was a teenager but have never had a vehiclele that was appropriate for them.

-Mazda trans, got it. I'll use whatever clutch (10" or 11") it has in it.

-The seller put a front tank in it. Apparently, some past owner never used it and it got gunked up. The gauge reads the same regardless of the switch position. (I put gas in each tank.) I guess I'll see if I hear each pump prime depending on switch position?

-I've only check the A/C fuse so far. I'm guessing the freon is low because it sat for some time. I hope it's not a bad leak. I'll look into the clutch, too. I'll do it sooner than later, as to not ruin the compressor.

I figured I be buying something that wasn't very good looking, and wasn't thinking about wheels, etc. This one will even deserve a wax job or two!

Am I out of luck on upholstery? They make it for tons of vehicles, but I haven't found it for this one. I guess I'll have to price it a the local upholstery shop.

My priority is the clutch. I need the truck now. It's in the garage and I'll start on it tomorrow.

Thanks again!
Lmc truck offers the upholstery sets for our trucks. Their sets are actually good quality to and I can vouch for that as I used 1 from them on my last truck.

I checked their site, I think. I'll look again; a little closer! Thanks.

EDIT: I just looked again. I don't see anything for a '95 with a bench.

Hmmm, I just bought 1 from them a couple years ago.

The closest I saw was an earlier truck bench with no headrests. Mine, of course, has head rests.

I got the clutch out today. I was wondering why a truck that has apparently been well maintained, needed a clutch at 86,000 miles. I got my answer today. As I mentioned (I think), it had been sitting somewhere for a while. The guy who sold it to me only had it long enough to flip it. Anyway, there was mouse nesting in the bell housing. It found its way into the pressure plate, down in where the fingers are attached. As a result, the fingers couldn't release all of the way and the clutch couldn't engage fully.
I could probably re-install everything and be okay. -Even the flywheel looks good. But I don't ever want to see the inside of that bell again! I ordered a clutch kit (pressure plate, disc, throwout and pilot bearings), a slave cylinder and a rear main seal, which is a little damp.
I'll also pick up some synthetic Dextron (Mercon?) ATF, which I believe is the right fluid. I'll check that out.

Thanks Teufelhund. i'm looking forward to driving it for many years.

I finished putting the clutch in it today. Everything seems okay with it (the clutch) now.

I noticed it needs the left side radius rod bushing, and it has some kind of issues with the dual tanks. It seems Ford didn't do too well when it came to designing the dual tank set-up. Lots of threads on here about them.
