I was wondering if a 7.3 bullydog chip would work in a 1996 gas f150 with a obd2

if its engine spesific NO it will not work you will need the one for that engine. bully dog i think make a plug and play for more then just one engine. id run the part number to see if its copatable but if its for a 7.3l diesel im 100% sure its no going to work for gas.

I found a site earlier today where you send your ecu to them with your requested specs and they reprogram it (within limits) for $275. I'll have to check my Internet history and I won't be back home til Friday. I'll try to post it if I can find it. I need to research this option more too.
