I got my FX4 last month and had the dealer have the the LineX done. Overall, I'm very happy with it as it looks like it was done by the factory.

we have a line-x in our 2003 f-350 and it is full of scratches nicks (lets make that gouges) and our tailgate bent this might partially be because of the 300lb rocks we where throwing in it

I have Line-X Xtra and it is star black (or whatever color you want) and hard as nails. It has survived rocks, engine blocks, tons of old appliances, etc and is clean and scratch free.
Rhino lining is like soft puddy it peels so easy and fades quick

Sorry sin, had to jump in. The Rhino in our 99f350 has survived more than it was intended for. Has yet to flake, and only has small gouges where #3500 skids got caught

The rhino liner in the back of ma dads work truck has survived an incredible amount of abuse from being full of rocks and rubble to getting things just thrown in there.
There's holes in places and scratches, but gorilla glue fixes most of the stuff and scratches will occur in any finish given enough time

Our rhino is 9 years old and held up amazingly well to #3500 skids being pushed in and drug off daily
