I have a buddy with either Rhino or Line-X (have to ask him to be sure). He has his 'touched up' every year to hide scratches and fading. He swears they do this for free, but I'm not sure I believe him...
I have another buddy who did his entire Jeep (inside and out) with the stuff they sell at O'Reilly that you roll on yourself. Cheap, somewhat easy, and he's very pleased with it.
There's another guys around town with a big ole' F350 lifted about 1/2 mile high. He Rhino lined the whole truck in flat black - it looks like a tank coming down the road! Scary in a really good way. (and should help prevent that fenderwell rust)
I personally don't have a liner at all - I like to go 'naked'!

Thanks guys,,,,
Thats the kind of info I was looking for. They want about $350-$400 to do a spray in and just cant see spending that much if they need touching up. I was looking at the Dupli-Color roll on at Advance and was also debating of that. I know I will be hauling stuff to scratch it, like engine blocks and such.. I may just go the economical(cheap) route with the roll on...lol

Line-X is worth every penny, have heard about the guarentee but have never cashed in on it. Mine is 7 years old, its stained and faded. No chips or scratches. Most recent abuse was shovelling off 10,000 lbs of decorator stone. (6-7 trips, just for the critics). Can't comment on the competition, Line-X removed all bolts, tie downs and access panel screws before application. As a mechanic, its nice to un-zip screws as intended, instead of using vice-grips.

If you're leaning toward the roll-on stuff, my friend was very insistent that it's all in the prep work. Everything has to be sanded and cleaned as well as possible, just the same as if you were going to paint a body panel or something.
Once it's prepped, you just roll on coats until it's as thick as you want it.

I know the feeling... I miss my 91 5.0 too. Bought it brand new and my ex-wife ended up with it!
That car hated her - something went wrong every time she drove it. About 6 months after we split, she rolled it end over end, it threw her out the sunroof, and landed on top of her. Didn't kill her, but messed her up bad. No humor in that story, so don't take it the wrong way. (I'm not that evil...)
