I've done a lot to my truck, mostly stock upgrades. Plus repairs. But I'm going to drop it in the weeds, airbags and maybe a control arm front suspension swap.

ah the whole expensive beds in the rust belt lol. i was half tempted if i ran out of ways to make money here, to haul a bunch of 9th gen beds down to 1 of the rust belt states and double my money on each bed. looks like some people need to start doing some road trips to states that dont salt the road though lol.

The $100 is the you pull it yourself bone yards. I might could spring to have a spot on my roof painted, around the front fender wells, and thr extended cab rust repair pannels, i can't do a whole bed. So I would have to find an exact match in good shape. I might do the wood bed temporarily until I find one I can afford or can afford one. I dunno. Just trowing it out there no one seems to be a fan of the wood beds I guess

Yeah you can find a rust-free bed around here at the pullapart for 200 with the tailgate. Only problem would be finding a Dent-free bed!...

Well, I must be that new guy with the gay, lego looking bed on my truck. I will admit that is a pretty good description of how it looks.... except for the gay part. I am changing it around a bit to make it look better. I am basically turning it into a flatbed. I'll post some pictures when I am done. Hopefully this week. Here is a picture how how it looked when I got it. Kinda ugly.

Am raising it, widening it. Want to make a steel headache rack, stake sides that slip into pockets, recessed LED round semi rear lights and marker lights all around, costom bumper and I'll probably think of more later. I think it could look good if you wanted it to. Advantages are: easy and cheap to change around.

No offence taken at all. I didn't like how it looked either. I think wood looks good if done right, but I would take a steel bed over a wood one if I had the chance.
