Default Now what do I do ?

Can't win for ... winning I guess. But it's not helping me get my project finished. Answered an ad for a truck with a good body and a seized motor. I've been trying to find a mint box for my own truck, cause I've got a little bit of over the wheel well nonsense. I can fix it, but I really want a nice straight one that hasn't been fixed. See the pic.

So I go buy this truck, and after a little cleanup and a good inspection, well this is what I got

This truck is mint everywhere ! 4 little spots of surface rust along the bottom edges, the undercarriage is mint, even the frame still has paint on it ! Sigh. I really want this box, but I don't think I can take this truck apart. It's too nice, even with a siezed motor. Let's take a vote. Who thinks my truck deserves a mint box more than somebody else deserves a mint truck to put their motor into ?

Wow, you found that up in Canada? I'm in the thumb right next to Sarnia, and there's no trucks like that around here. I'd say it depends on how long until you'll find another good box. Depending on where you are, there's a couple places around here that go down south and bring back beds to sell in Michigan.

So you see my problem. Trucks in that kind of shape don't come along very often around here. On the other end of things, going through the receipts in the glove box, it would appear that the PO spent 2500.00 rebuilding the trans at the end of 2013 - and the trans matches the one in my truck. Not that I need one at the moment, but ...
And a new cat and muffler 8 months ago, and 800.00 worth of brakes 2 weeks before he ran it out of oil. So taking it apart is looking like a real good idea.
But......damn, this is gonna be a tough decision

That's a nice truck it would be a shame but I'm sure if you put an ad for a part out people would want some pieces off it that you didn't use.
