Exclamation 94 5.0 4R70W transmission clunking w/shifts

picked up a 94 4x4 f150, runs and drives great with 215,000 km's. I noticed its got a "clunking" when it shifts and when i put it into Reverse or drive!!!, it had a full transmission flush w/new filter at 209K, Im thinking u joints or is the torq converter on its way out??? the atf fluid is still blood red.. can anyone shine some light on my problem!!!

U-joints would top the list, then mounts, then rear end...

First thing you need to do is find out exactly what is making the noise. Get the truck up on stands or a lift (or at the very least, block all four wheels) and have a buddy put it in gear. If it sounds like its coming from the tranny, get a mechanics stethoscope (about $5 from harbor freight) and listen to make sure that's where it's coming from.
