No overdrive 1994 5.0 w/ 4R70W
Ok so I am new to the site other than reading all the posts I can find when I have issues and need information which have been very helpful. So anyway heres the deal.
I just changed my transmission fluid/filter and mpls sensor and also had to install a new shift cable. Had some eratic shifting going on at about 45-50 mph. Was hoping the mpls and filter change would help. The shifter cable ended up being an extra project.
Now after "completing" the project I have found that I have no overdrive. This was working fine before and never had an issue with it. It feels like it is not going into 4th gear and has no OD. I can drop it into 2nd and 1st and it will go into reverse no problem. Any ideas as to what has gone wrong or where I need to look.

Well, I figured I would go ahead and swap the new mpls switch out with the old one and test it out. Had nothing to lose. Guess what? yep you guessed it. The new one was the problem. Thank God.
