Default No giddy up

Just replaced dang near all gaskets but head gasket, and exhaust manifold gaskets. New plugs, timing chain and sprockets, no vacuum leaks or CEL. If I floor it from a stand still I cannot spin my tires. Also when cruising if I floor it it does catch all the gears and take off but it feels like its being held back? Is that symptoms of loss of compression?

The biggest thing to remember is these trucks are 20+ years old. The 5.0 only ever came with 195hp and 270lb/ft of torque brand new. The 5.8 was 200hp and 375lb/ft. Now add buildup to the intake and worn out parts due to mileage. If you want to spin your tires or be able to treat it like a race truck, you're gonna have to do more than replace parts with stock replacements. It's not necessarily a loss of compression (which can always be tested) but just all around worn out. Dont mean to come across like a dick but if you want power, youre gonna have to do some internal work

Well why I'm at a loss is because I had a 1978 F100 with a 302 and it had no issues spinning tires or loss of power and was in horrible shape.

Gears make a big difference.
But seriously, if you start doing burnouts and tire squealing launches with a 20 year old 4000 lb truck you're just going to break stuff.
