Default I need help

Well i was changing the headgaskets on my 302 and also the water pump and i broke 2 of the studs in the block, how can i get these out? I also noticed i dont have the metal tray that goes in the oil galley and i also found a small freeze plug in the oil galley. I need help on finding out where this plug could have come from

Probably an old one, discarded during a previous replacement. If you can't get vise grips on any remaining thread, (heat the threadways, not the bolts w/ map torch) then you have to use a bolt extractor (easy out). The nick name couldn't be farther from the truth!

the bolt is broke off about 2 inches in the block

That's about how deep those threads go. You only need an inch or so of thread anyway.

should i worry about the freeze plug? Its about the size of my thumb. Is there supposed to be an odd shaped circle hole behind the distributer on the wall of the oil galley?
