New Power Steering Pump and Steering Box. Need to bleed.
Hey guys. Got a quick question. I want to do this right, so I won't question myself before I screw something up. Lol.
1988 F-150. 300 I6.
Brand new powersteering pump.
Brand new steering box.
Flushed both powersteering lines thoroughly.
I've got a completely dry system. So what's the best way to add/bleed the fluid?
I'm going to use Orielly's brand ATF type F. If anyone has any objections, let me know what's better to use. I had standard powersteering fluid in the old system, and I think that might be what killed my pump. Thanks guys. Joe.
