At this point (where you need to start locating some parts to replace), I'd really recommend getting a good service manual. You can pick up a Haynes or Chilton book at your auto parts store for about $20. You can also check them out at your local library - the library may have some others that are a little more in-depth as well.

my power steering finally sh*t. im guessing its because the guy who owned it before me ran it wiithout fluid for so long, so that when i fixed the leak its days were numbered anyway, so i havent gone to the store yet to get the transmission fluid since it isnt going anywhere. ive been trying to focus on getting the broken bolts out of the i guessed youd call it a yolk, where the front brake caliper bolts on. the screw extractor set broke off in both bolts (cheap *** black and decker sh*t) so now im at a loss for ideas on getting them out. also, i got to step 3 in the haynes manual for replacing the innner and outer front wheel bearing, i got to the part where youre supposed to remove the lock ring i think it was called, with a flathead screwdriver, i didnt want to firce it out and break it so i was takeing my time with it, it moves freely in and out for the locking 4x4 hub, but it doesnt want to come all the way out, is there a special technique i should use? or does it just take some elbow grease?

I am experiencing a clicking noise when I am in gear moving. It is only when the truck is under load or accelerating relatively fast. It does not do it when I nurse it along. The previous owner changed the tranny 3 years ago. I found that they did not bolt it back down to the frame crossbeam though. That is bolted down properly now. So who knows if they did the tranny work properly.

caliper should bolt into the steering knuckle...i've welded on a small piece of pipe before and used that as leveragethough you may find that the holes are stripped out on ur steering knuckle...i believe napa makes self tapping oversized caliper boltor just drill out the bolt, and use a helicoil or tap hercorrect me if im wrong boysDan.
