New (to me) F150!
Hey guys, i just purchased another F150. Its a 1990 5.8 auto 4wd with auto locking hubs. Its got a 2 inch lift and 32 inch tires. The motor has about 5000 miles on it since rebuild. The truck only has 124,000 miles on it. Is there anything I need to look out for, especially with the new motor in it? I've never bought something with a new motor in it like this, so this is new to me. Thanks.

Okie.
No not really just keep an eye on every thing on the engine make shure nothing goes wrong just in case the guy didn't hook something up right. And if you have any problems let us know

Buy one of these: http://www.handsontools.com/Equus-In...ol_p_5574.html
It says for 1981-1995, any idea if it would work on a '96?
Thanks.

Yeah ymeski, i've had one of those for over a year
Also, there are certain situations where a '96 will have obd1. "Fleet" trucks can be '96 and have obd1. My dad has a '96 with a service bed that came from a natural gas company and it has obd1. I assume those are the only kinds of trucks that do this, but just pointing it out.

If the engine's past the break in, I'd be running Synthetic fluids.
