Default new fuel pump

Are spectra fuel pump/ sender assemblies any good or are they junk? My front tank needs a new fuel pump I believe and normally I would buy a motorcraft one but I don't have that kind of money. My budget is 150-200 tops. Any advice or opinions on what to get is greatly appreciated thanks! Oh my truck is a 92 f150 custom 5.0 4x4

I put airtex in mine, still running fine after 2 years. Stay away from federal moguls. That was what I originally put in and they last 30 days.

One way to ensure they last longer is to never let them run dry.

See Idk if I need a new sending unit or pump so I'm thinking I'll just get the assembly... when I flip it to front tank the motor stalls cuz obviously it doesn't get gas can't hear the pump kick on nothing

Could be the check valve and I thought the sending unit and pump was all in one..

sending unit is held to the pump assembly via 2 screws.... you pull the screws and take the sender off then pull the plastic fuel pump assembly off.

pretty simple
