Hello, I bought my 92 F 150 flareside a few months back for a work truck, but the more I drive it the more I love it. I have owned ford trucks in the past and realized how much I missed em. I got to cleaning it and realized under all that dirt was a nice little truck. It currently has a 302 with 202,000 miles but burns no oil but lacks some power not from age but engine size limitations. My current plan to get it painted and drop a rebuilt 351 into it so it has more power for towing my horse trailer. Since it is a 2 wheel drive, I was to make it a bit more sporty. One of my questions is will the lightning or the HD edition wheels fit this truck? Also will the late model F150 seats bolt in? Thanks in advance!

I'm not positive, but as long as it is the same year, it should bolt up.

and from what I have seen, the oem lightning or harley rims will probally cost more than your truck. your best bet is finding a set of similar rims for about half the price.

welcome to the site, and I hope you enjoy it here.

Welcome to the site!

If you havent put seafoam in it i would do that, its not like you find some race motor after using it but you will have a difference in you motor, especially with 200k on it.

Sea foam is good and I used it and it did make a difference but I had a BG fuel system cleaner run through it and WOW what a difference!

I have seen for knockoffs of the lightening and harley rims, not too expensive as far as being more than my truck.

Still wondering if the late model seats will bolt into my 92?

Welcome to the site. I see my Chilton book does state that the Bench Seats were standard (1987-1994). Hope that helps.
