New distributor, Idles but wont rev
Alright, I just replaced the distributor and fuel pump in my truck a couple weeks ago and I finally got the distributor put in the right spot (I believe) for timing. It cranks up and idles fine but it wont revup. I know I'm low on fuel so I'm going to fill up my 5 gallon can this afternoon and put some more gas in it to see if that helps. Does that sound like a possible cause to anyone else? low fuel causing low fuel pressure.

what do you consider "Low" on fuel ?

so...your gas gauge is below the Red ? fill it up and try again. then change your fuel filter.

not no more.. its sucking all the crap off the bottom of your tank and your new pump is not cooling properly with only a gallon of gas trying to keep it cool.
