the 300 I6 isnt a teeny weenie motor. lol. its only point one liter smaller than the 5.0L. and i dont know bout you guys but if a 6 cylindor is strong enough to put in a 250, thats a good engine.

hey they put them in the f350's too. i got a 93 4.9l and i would guess an exhaust leak or possibly something with the air pump lines. like redneck's truck mine ticks cant figure it out cause i replaced the intake gasket but since the exhaust was a machined fit i didnt put a gasket on that but i should have. i hear mine coming from the passender back side of engine and my air pollution pump lines run back their and it could possibly be that. and one question what does it mean when you have a white foamy build up on oil cap? i cleaned it off and it came back.

It means water is getting into the oil. Possible blown head gasket, cracked head or cracked block.

Water could also be condensation build-up. If you take a lot of short trips and you live in a colder climate...I've had it happen to me here in Pittsburgh more than once.

They are right^^^. Ive seen a Ford write up about that somewhere a while back. If I can find it I will try to post it. But if I cant I do recall it saying in certain conditions small amounts of condensation will build up there and its not an issue. If its not on the dipstick then it should be fine.

Forgot to mention that, I don't get much condensation inside the engine here in Florida.
