i have tried fuel system cleaner and changed plugs going to change tranny my e4od slips and grinds bad but it ran perfect when we drove it about 25 miles home besides altenator is crap and have one to replace it too but it runs good after you get going like i said it sat for 2 years

I wouldn't jump to conclusions. If it was driven 25 miles very recently I doubt that the tranny suddenly died. It is possible but unlikely. It did sit for a while so yes it probably will have problems. However, your first priority should be to change all the fluids and drive it for a while. Then reassess the situation.


Also, what is the truck doing that makes you think that the alternator isn't working correctly?
