Question My Truck started dying whenever i put it in Reverse

Hi,
I'm new to the forum, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any real reason for my issue.
The problem is when I go from either P to R or D to R my truck wants to die, or does die. I'm not really sure what to do to fix this, I would like some input before I get something replaced. It has just started doing it about 5 days ago.
Thanks for any input.

How is it running? What is it idling at if you have a tach? Does it idle real rough when you put it in reverse?

Default What year is the truck, and have you read any

trouble codes from the computer?

Those are the first things to do. Chances are it's something dirty or a sensor that's malfunctioning, but you want to narrow it down, rather than throw parts at it blindly, unless you own a parts store!

Default Here is what they replaced..

The Garage replaced my Starter Solonoid, and my Idle Sensor. Now it seems to be back to normal.
