September of last year, I finished the 351 swap and got her running again. Since then, I have put 10k miles on her and she's still running like a top. The M5OD hasn't grenaded behind the 351 and it shifts like butter ever since I drained and filled it with Synchromesh fluid. It's actually fun to drive!!!:)

good to hear. how long did it take you to do the swap? the 300 and 351 are a totally different design and use different motor mounts (i think)

Well my 300 six died, June 2016. On March 2017 I found a guy on Craigslist who buys and sells OBS Ford trucks and parts and he sold me a 351 from a '95 F150, along with the engine ECM, engine perches, radiator, fan shroud, air box intake tubes, and a 351 H pipe from a '95 F250. I also bought a new water pump, oil pan gasket, front and rear crank seals, distributor cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires, new a/c hose(the one for the six was too short), new p/s pressure hose(the six's was too long), and while I was replacing the radiator core support anyway, I decided on a new a/c condenser. Also adding to the list was a new 351 flywheel, disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing/slave cylinder, and an ECM for a '95 F250 with a 351/5 speed, as well as a new alternator and starter.
I didn't get started on the engine swap until January 2018 and finally got the whole thing finished, September 2018

Good to hear the M5OD is holding up. It's the biggest thing holding me back from putting in a 351, and I refuse to put in an auto or a ZF5.
