haven't posted in a while, been living the dream of a broke college student. trucks tucked away for now until I have some more spending money.
an update though, I was driving the truck just around my yard to see how everything works. the front driveshaft rubs the transmission cross member, so Ill have to cut a bit out and brace it back up
the 31's rub my radius arms to. offset rims will fix that, but I hate those back brackets I made on the radius arms that stick out of the frame. cobbled together garbage is what they look like haha, so im going to remake them and place them under the frame as opposed to having them run on the outside of it.
when I do this though, the bushings I welded on aren't going to work, so Im just going to chop them off and replace them with the same style johny joints I have on the front section of the axle.
heres an old pic, but those back brackets are coming off, and the new radius arm location will be under the frame. should give the tires a bit more room to move.

I got the drawing and pictire from this thread http://www.ranger-forums.com/project...-132860/page4/
The plates for the top and bottom would need to be wider for johnny joints.
I can get pictures of mine tomorrow .

I was thinking something similar to that, but it will be good for reference when I go to do it

I made mine 2 5/8" wide for my joints, and cut everything out with a 19.99 jigsaw from Home Hardware. I holesawed the bottom so I can get a socket on the rear bolt, the plan being two bolts up through the bottom and four in the side of the frame.
Thanks for the tip on TMR being in Canada , that saved a ton on shipping.

ill defiantly be making some. I hope with those and some offset rims I clear my radius arm....other wise I have to cut the front brackets off the axle and start over

Could you just swap the brackets you have side for side, and move the bolt for the radius arm to the front hole. Just tack weld or clamp them in place. That will tell you quicker than making new brackets from scratch.
