Yeah, those are just temporary until I make sure everything's good mechanically. We re-did the whole front end, but if there's a problem it's gonna be hard to diagnose with the sound of the big tires. I have a 6 inch skyjacker lift waiting to be put on, and I'm getting 37's. Not sure what tires yet, though. I was thinking maybe Mickey Thompson Baja Claws.

cool, sounds like youve got a great plan. I just resto'd my truck this year too. I love the feeling of having a brand new looking 18 year old truck.

I just checked out your truck in your garage, it looks awesome. It looks brand new compared to the before picture lol. I love seeing these trucks on the road looking brand new instead of those ugly new superduties.

My Build Thread (Big Red)-forumrunner_20120906_171915.jpg

Just an update, my tires came in. I ended up getting 37x12.5 Super Swamper TrXus MT's on 15'' Mickey Thompson Classic II's. Now I just have to find time to lift the truck. What do you think?

I've got those same tires just 33x12.5. There a little noisy but the guy I bought them said they were his favourite tires he's had yet for offroading.

A little noise never hurt anybody As long as they do their job, I don't mind. How do they wear? I'm hoping I can get a decent amount of mileage out of them.

I can't comment on how they wear, I've had them for about 2000km.
