Default More heater/ac fun

SO...on my 87 F150 I cant get any air to blow out regardless of setting. The bottom left lever that controls the Outside Air on/off doesn't seem to be moving an actuator/door etc. Any idea where exactly it goes to?

Eh, the HVAC controls look different than my model, but the outside air / recirc damper actuator is under the hood on the HVAC enclosure on the passenger side of the firewall.

You should have air blowing out somewhere - are you sure the blower is working? Have had issues with the squirrel cage blower stripping off the motor so that can hear the motor running but no air is being moved. Usually some kind of rattling noise with this, though.

The air kind of waifs out..instead of blowing. And isnt as hot as I would expect. My 77 and both 85's would cook you.

Ok so there is a cable going into the passenger firewall and attached to something but its loose and flopping around on the other side...maybe the culprit. Which component is in going into and can it be taken apart...
