Default MAF

I can get a 96 setup for $50. engine harness and cpu, is the harness a stand alone harness where I can pull my cpu and harness out and install the maf harness without any complications? Also I am also guessing there are 2 o2 sensors that go with the maf, I have no problem adding one and welding in another bung. I also know I will have to pull the obd2 wiring out too, and as far as the distributor, I have a remote tfi, will the maf harness still work?

Say what?

'96 isn't the optimal year to me because it's OBDII. You need a '94-'95 5.0 automatic harness and computer to stay OBDI.

I have a 96 that has the obd2 that I'm going to
Switch over to obd1. Believe me you don't want to switch to obd2. You will have alot of trouble such as p0411 code (secondary air injection) pop up. You would have to get a different head for the engine to make it right. There's alot more to switching over then it's worth. There's emissions you have to change also. And after all that the milage aint going to be any better either. I have a 96 engine I'm swappig out for the 95 engine. Obd2 is junk in those trucks. It will run alot better and perform better with the obd1
