Default Low oil shut down

Is it possible the 92 w\ 302 has a low oil pressure shut down? I know my neighbor's 94 has one, when he was low on oil the truck would not start, my truck is running 10lbs idle and 25-30 lbs highway I am thinking this could be the problem with the truck stalling.

Pretty sure neither does. Computer doesn't get an oil pressure signal.

His 94 shouldn't do that...a friend of mine ruined a 302 in this 94 in the pic and it would run but had no oil pressure at idle and one piston had no compression. Still ran though.
