My 89 has a door rattling problem. They shut tight, nice and flush, but it's as if the top corners are loose and rattle anytime I hit a bump. Any tricks or tweaks to tighten them up? They appear to be sitting square, just loose.

Usually new weatherstrip will fix that, as long as the door is adjusted properly, hinges aren't worn, and the latches aren't worn.

if you look at what your door latches on there should be a piece of plastic over the door striker. it normally breaks and its highly annoying if you drive county roads everyday.
