Hey so did you guys know where to find the brass contact cap and rotor for this engine? I tried a search but it went inconclusive!
Also I wanted to add that I've already upgraded my alternator to an 80 amperage unit instead of the stock 65 amperage one. So hopefully that will make it easier to do that electric engine fan.
Thanks again for the support and information! You guys are a real help!

Atomic: That makes sense. Like I said, I didn't really know. Emissions is one of the areas where I don't know much about. Thanks for teaching my some new info!

MRydder there are a couple brands out there that make brass contact dist caps for our engine. Accel makes a cap and rotor. When I do my ignition upgrade this summer that is what I'm going to use.

Thanks guys, this is looking to be a sweet setup so far.
Does anyone have any idea which high-flow cats I should go with? I know magnaflow makes good ones, I'm just unsure as to how to pick the right ones and their site doesn't exactly make it easy to figure out. I'm going to need 2.5 inch in/out.

No he didn't, but there was some great insight into mounting an adjustable fuel regulator.

That's awesome about the fuel regulator adjuster. I'm looking into doing something like that with a friend of mine once I've invested in all these new parts.
Did you guys ever find out a suitable magnaflow highflow cat? I know nothing about catalytic converters, so I could use some help on choosing a suitable one! Looking to get a center/center with 2.5 in/out.
Thanks again for all the support, it is greatly appreciated! I cannot wait to begin posting pictures of the projects to come!

Motorcraft Brass Rotor - DR374B / Can be found at Advance Auto for around $8

Motorcraft Brass Cap - DH3221 / Can be found online at Amazon or eBay for about $22-$28

An alternative brass cap: BWD C194 / Can be found at Advance Auto for $15-20

Assuming yours is a V8 these are choices. I'm on my phone so I can't see autosignatures.
