I guess the truck I got the box and condenser from was, but the one I got the hoses and compressor wasn't. Neither had any freon in it.

I want to get mine fixed. I have factory ac but it wasnt working when I bought it. I took the compressor off when I took my smog pump off, but its a reman so I'm thinking about replacing the switches and trying to hook it back up.

At least fixing yours is easier than what I have to do to fix mine.

I still have to make the alternator bracket and buy a new belt.

I don't get why it's not a simple bolt on affair? Shouldn't you just be able to add the parts and make it work? I wonder why that bolt is causing issues...

It is a simple bolt on deal, for a stock truck. But I removed my smog pump. That's what is causing my belt issue. If the smog pump was still on the belt wouldn't be anywhere near the bolt and I could use a stock belt.

Instead he wants to be difficult. Why don't you just add the pump but not hook it up bro? Would alleviate one problem maybe.

Nah, I like my way better.

I don't want the pump on there. I've been removing useless crap, I don't want to put it back on. Most everything about my truck is custom mechanically so here's another custom touch.

Ahh I see! So what is your plan of action to avoid the bolt?

This.
