Default Locked keys in truck

Ok, so I busted butt to finish the radiator job last night so that I could be ready for the snow this morning...got to work and left the keys in the ignition and locked the truck. ('93 standard cab, power locks) Any tips on using a slim jim or other methods to unlock it? I had a '91 Ranger years ago that I could get into it with a slim jim, but I can't remember if if I pushed down or pulled up, plus it had manual locks. Not sure if I can use a slim jim with power locks. I'll be here until 3:30pm so any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

A slim jim can be used with or without power locks.

I tried the slim jim first, in the lower right hand corner. I pushed and pulled and I could feel the locking mechanism but I was unable to pop the lock. Plan B, a wedge I have in my tool bag made of UHMW inserted at the top of the door frame and a long piece of round rod bent enough to push the power button did the trick. Keys secured; meanwhile here in NC, snow is piling up. Ready for some 4x4 action when I get off.

I always push the unlock button from the top rear corner of the door, using a stiff wire. Before I added keyless entry, I kept the wire stored on the frame under the door. Now, it's only a problem if the keys are locked in AND the battery is dead.

I locked myself out once, now i stash this under the drivers side box rail. It fits perfectly....I've needed it twice so far the last year or two.

My wife has an extra set of keys for all our vehicles. All I have to do is call her or she can call me if she gets locked out of something
