Lift Kit or Just New Wheels for BFG 33x12.5
Hello to all. New guy here. I am picking up an 89 F150 Reg Cab 4x4 tomorrow. The previous owner put on new BFG 33x12.5 on it. He also installed F250 leaf springs on the rear. During the test drive, I felt it rub on full turn.
Which direction should I go with this? Should I go with a lift kit/leveling kit or should I just pick up new wheels for the truck. I am looking at Cragar Soft 8 15x10 5x5.5 with 4"BS and 38 offset.
I don't really want to go too high, just do not want the tires rubbing. Not really interested in body lifts. What are your thoughts?

ok first things first.
EVERYONE LISTEN UP!!!!
rubbing the radius arms at full lock is not going to do any damage, your always going to be going slow when it happens, you're just going to leave a shiny spot on the arm.
second if you're rubbing at lock on factory wheels and you lift it with the standard lift WITHOUT the extended arms, you're still going to rub,
if your truck is rubbing the lower plastic bumper you can take it off, or trim it.
if your rubbing the bumper you can space out the bumper to move it away from the body, you can make it come out about 1.5" before it looks noticeable.
you can can also trim the back edge of the bumper.

The PO told me that it is sitting on 15x8 wheels. Is that even possible or safe? I think I am going to go with new wheels and get a lift later.
Can I install F250 coils and add new shocks without extending anything or having alignment issues?
