If you've already got the water pump off and the timing cover is the only thing left, you're going to need to pull the harmonic balancer. Be careful pulling the bolts on ttiming cover. You may also want to consider putting on a new double roller timing chain as well.

Will I have to remove any bolts from the oil pan? Also how hard is the timing chain to replace, I see no point in tearing it down to this point and not replacing it. Thank you guys for the input, I'm new to fords but willing to learn!
