Default Just a few more days....

When I first bought it in 2011. 85,000 miles. I paid 4000 bucks.

A few days ago. I just had the upper intake and new valve covers sitting on it.

Where I'm at as of today.

I've been working on my truck for a few weeks now. I originally tore the front of the engine down to put a new water pump on. I figured it would also be a good time to pull the engine to put gaskets and freeze plugs in it. I decided to do a few upgrades as well. I have a new ignition system. MSD all the way. Pro billet distributor, super conductor wires, blaster coil and 6AL CD ignition box. I also have a BBK twin 56mm throttle body and K&N FIPK on order. I rebuilt the injectors and I'm replacing every sensor and sender. I have used ARP head bolts and ARP stainless bolts for the upper and lower intakes. New alternator, starter and reman PS pump. I did sandblast the intakes and the accessory brackets and bought some Ford racing valve covers. I can't wait to get it running . Hope you enjoy the pics. I will take more as I move along.

I love those valve covers on it. Are those just the regular 302 valve covers?

They are the ford racing M-6582-A351R valve covers for 302-351W EFI trucks.

Thanks for the comments. Seems like during the last year some body rot appeared over the back wheels and the cab corners. I'll be fixing that next and painting it. I believe it was from the northern states because there seems to be a lot of rust underneath. Good ole brine solution and salted roads.

Do those valve covers retain the stock PCV setup?
