Default Just changed my clutch! why is my truck faster?

well my clutch was slipping about a week ago and i finally got it done but i got the wrong size i had a 11 inch clutch plate i bought the 10 inch one it fits and works extremely great! but its given me better acceleration? i can tell the difference the second i started rolling in the thing. and yes the clutch that i took out was the original! needless to say i just want to be sure that im not going to burn out my engine or trans

Eh, the only thing I can think of is that the old clutch was slipping, or not able to hook up as well, for longer than you noticed it.

All things equal, the 11-inch clutch has a great deal more contact area than the 10-inch. If you drive like grampy geezer, probably not a big issue. But if you tow a lot, or otherwise push your truck, the 10-inch clutch will likely have a noticeably shorter lifespan. JMO.

well its all possible but now i might get the 11 inch soon because i do tend to push my truck a bit but it has a lifetime limited warranty so i should be OK. its just a dramatic change just want to be sure i didn't forget something.

Did you forget to readjust your flux capacitor? This may happen if you forget to recalibrate it.
