Smile 1990 Ford F150 4x4 Tires

I just bought a 1990 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4, with stock tires and wheels. I am trying to find out how big I can go with tires without clearance issues and with a speedometer change option available. Any advice or experience anybody has is welcome.

31 10.50 15 will fit on the stock rims 33s will fit with minor rubbing on the front suspension. Yours should have the mechanical speedometer and it is easy to change the gears in it.

Whose pushbar do you have on your truck. I got a JC Whitney one, basically just for mounting lights, and it looks like yours. Bolts to the bumper, not the frame. Problem is they didn't send me instructions or all of the hardware. I called, and the sent me some hardware (enough to assemble the bar), but not all of it. Not sure what I need to actually install it.

They usually use your existing bumper bolts to mount it. That's how mine is.

Not this one. When I test fit it, it's nowhere near any existing holes. Actually, I don't see any existing bolts on my bumper. I have no idea how it's attached to the brackets. There has to be some holes somewhere, but wherever they are they don't line up with this thing.

If your truck has that plastic trim piece on the bumper the bolts are under it.

It doesn't - that's the thing. Looking at it, the push bar is probably designed to bolt through there. The lower mounting points are right where that trim would be. My bumper is just one, giant piece of chrome.

EDIT:
Here's the hardware. All of the little plastic caps lead me to believe that there should be some other bolts with hex heads that will accept said caps. The bolts that are included (pictured) are the ones to assemble the bar itself, not to install it. I guess I shouldn't have such high expectations for a $120 bar, but still.....
